Accomodation in the Campus 

The VILA UNIVERSITARIA is a residential complex with 632 appartments located on the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona campus (UAB), with housing capacity for 1790 persons.

The appartments at the VILA UNIVERSITARIA enjoy a very privileged setting: located between the campus and the Vallès forest they have very special views, good train and bus connections and are only 25 minutes from the center of Barcelona.

The VILA UNIVERSITARIA offers to the residents all the commercial services you may need: Student support ceneter, newstand-bookstore-stationery store, photos, graduation photos, gifts, driving school, Supermarket, copy shop, haidresser's, automatic teller machines, laundromat-dry cleaners, cafes and restaurants, etc. Other opcional services are telephone, equipment (linen, kitchen utensils, etc.), half board, periodic cleaning of the appartments, etc.

The VILA UNIVERSITARIA also offers complementary services: Faciclities-maintenance services, selective waste collection, park maintenance, mail pick-up and delivery, swimming pool with lifeguard service, permanent security service, health care, satellite dish, grass fottball field, etc.

Furthermore, if you become a member of the Residents Club, you'll be eligible for discounts and other advantages when you use certain services. You'll also be able to participate in a wide range of activities such as excursions, concerts, etc.

Students in exchange programs may apply for several lodging options:

• 1 place in an apartament Type B, for 4 persons (76 m2): Living room + bath + kitchen + 2 double rooms. Price: 23.400,- Ptas/month (Course 2001/2002). You can see this appartment in.
• 1 place in an appartment type D, for 2 persons (30 m2) 1 open space + bath + kitchen. Price : 23.400,- Ptas/month (Course 2001/2002). You can see this appartment in.
• Appartment type D for single use (30 m2) 1 open space + bath + kitchen. Price : 46.800,- Ptas/month (Course 2001/2002). You can see this appartment in.

In every option, you must add electricity and water expenses (depending on the use) and common expenses for 1.100 Ptas/month. In order to make a reservation, you must fullfill the application form you will find here.

Regarding the contract, you must sign a contract for a minimum stay of 3 months (beginning on 1st and 15th of each month). Beside the initial deposit you must pay to make the application, when you arrive you must make anothe deposit for 1 month. Both deposits (the one of 28000,- Ptas and the other one) will be paid back at the end of you stay.
